Applications open for Fall semester 2012Non-Swedish applicants must apply at www.universityadmissions.se Swedish applicants must apply at www.studera.nu Cognitive Robotics, Perception and ControThe program profiles itself in the fusion between cognition, control and perception. The first year is dedicated to in-depth courses covering fundamental topics, such as artificial intelligence, mobile robots, sensing, control and machine learning. The second year focuses on practical work and integration, and culminates with a Master’s thesis. A Dual Focus on Research and IndustryAll teaching in the program is provided by researchers in the Center for Applied Autonomous Sensor Systems (AASS, aass.oru.se). AASS is a renown research center in robotics and intelligent systems with many international connections. Teaching and supervision within the program are intimately connected to research: courses are at a sufficiently advanced level to be driven by current research topics, and project work that is assigned in the second year provides students with the unique opportunity to participate in cutting edge research programs. CareerThe unique mix of research- and industry-driven focus of the program has resulted in an excellent track record. Our graduates consistently earn prestigious positions both in research and industry.
